Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with technology and business teams to define analytical questions and translate them into data requirements and contracts.
  • •Design, build, and maintain governed data models, views, and tables in Snowflake for retail strategy reporting.
  • •Own business logic by translating business definitions into consistent, documented SQL transformations and metric definitions.
  • •Monitor data transformation performance and data quality, proactively identifying and resolving issues impacting reporting.
  • •Build and optimize Power BI reporting infrastructure, including semantic layer development and data source integration; evaluate AI-powered analytical tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in an analytical or strategic role (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, etc.).
  • •Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and business logic implementation.
  • •Experience with version control (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD concepts for data workflows.
  • •Proficiency with enterprise BI tools; Power BI, Report Builder, and/or Tableau preferred.
  • •Experience translating between technical and business audiences with strong documentation skills.
