Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out property risk surveys and desktop reviews on-site or via remote/virtual methods, then analyze gathered information for reporting and risk improvement opportunities.
  • •Plan and conduct assigned service/survey orders and deliver risk analysis reports, desktop reviews, or related responses within SLA.
  • •Provide risk review and technical risk information from surveys and analyses to underwriters and marketers via dedicated tools/systems.
  • •Analyze and perform Probable Maximum Loss (PML) / Maximum Foreseeable Loss (MFL) and/or Estimated Maximum Loss (EML) to support underwriters’ retention decisions.
  • •Provide consultation on loss control via risk improvement recommendations (RIR) reviews/discussions and undertake other duties as directed by the superior.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • •3 to 5 years of experience in property risk surveying, focused on medium to large industrial risks.
  • •Professional certification in related qualifications such as risk management and process safety (advantage).
  • •Strong communication and written skills in English; other languages like Mandarin are an advantage.
  • •Willingness to travel for business purposes; possess own transport with a valid driving license; IT/computer savvy and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot are advantages.
