Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead substation steel structure and foundation design for transformers, circuit breakers, GIS/HIS equipment, and cable support systems.
  • •Perform and review structural analysis and design calculations for concrete and steel to applicable codes and project standards.
  • •Prepare and review construction drawings, general arrangements, and detailed structural layouts using AutoCAD / MicroStation.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentoring, manage deliverables/schedules/budgets for structural engineering scopes.
  • •Support construction and commissioning by reviewing RFIs/site queries/field changes and performing constructability reviews with QA/QC compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
  • •6+ years of structural engineering experience for high-voltage substations (HV/MV, up to 400 kV preferred).
  • •Proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural modelling, load definition, member design, and calculation reporting.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD / MicroStation for substation drawings and layout production.
  • •Strong knowledge of international standards and substation layout/electrical clearance constraints for equipment integration.
