Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Perth GIS team by coaching team members, allocating workload, setting priorities, and building an inclusive high-performance culture.
  • •Implement regional initiatives and the business line GIS strategy in partnership with national counterparts.
  • •Develop and manage GIS bidding strategy, and build 3D geospatial environments to support decision-making and collaboration.
  • •Integrate GIS, CAD, and BIM using automated tools (FME, Python), and coordinate with internal digital and information leads on interoperable workflows.
  • •Deliver end-to-end project GIS work including field data capture (Field Maps, Survey123, Experience Builder), data governance, and QA/QC to meet scope and client expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep ESRI expertise including Desktop, Enterprise (Portal/Server), and ArcGIS Online.
  • •Proven deployment experience with Field Maps, Survey123, and Experience Builder (online/offline).
  • •Strong spatial data management, analysis, cartography, and data visualization skills.
  • •Hands-on automation skills using FME and Python, with an interest in AI-enabled spatial intelligence where valuable.
  • •Tertiary qualifications in GIS, Spatial Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
