Provide expert employment law counsel as the primary advisor on U.S. employment-related issues, partnering with HR and business leaders to ensure compliance and minimize legal risk. Support performance management, discipline, terminations, accommodations, leaves, drug testing, and workplace investigations. Manage employment litigation and agency interactions, and also handle corporate/commercial legal matters including contracts, disputes, M&A support, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise HR and business leaders on employment matters including performance management, discipline, terminations, accommodations, leaves, drug testing, and workplace investigations.
•Develop, review, and improve HR policies, handbooks, forms, training materials, and related processes.
•Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local employment laws and manage responses to administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC).
•Lead or support employment litigation and pre-litigation strategy, including settlement negotiations and coordination with outside counsel.
•Provide broader commercial/corporate legal support including contract drafting/negotiation, dispute resolution, M&A due diligence support, and regulatory compliance.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 150,900 - 226,300 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. or LL.B. with an active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s).

•Strong communication skills with ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.
•Demonstrated ability to resolve complex legal issues with sound judgment and business-focused solutions.
