Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide materials and components for product manufacturing by interfacing with development and supplier engineering.
  • •Develop and prioritize a supplier auditing schedule to ensure regular audits and that manufacturing practices and quality standards are met.
  • •Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicate and resolve supplier-related problems as they occur.
  • •Develop and implement supplier quality management plans using industry tools and standards to drive improvements.
  • •Assess specific commodity quality, recommend supplier selection, and support timely new product launches and stable ramp to time to volume.

Key Requirements

  • •Work closely with suppliers and sustaining groups to ensure product producibility at the supplier.
  • •Identify potential quality risks to the supply chain and assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.
  • •Assist in excursion management using root cause analysis.
  • •Provide recommendations and risk assessments for new suppliers and new process technology.
  • •Support sustaining and process activities by driving implementation and validation of improvement and corrective actions.
