Key Responsibilities

  • •Own components of Plaid’s 3–5 year long range plan, including model design, scenario analysis, and translating strategy into financial targets.
  • •Partner on end-to-end PMO for the quarterly Board process, including framework development, narrative ownership, materials build, and Q&A management.
  • •Build and operationalize SBC and equity modeling, incorporating HC growth, grant cadence, forfeitures, and refresh cycles, and connect SBC to GAAP profitability, EBITDA, and margin analysis.
  • •Lead consolidated cash flow forecasting and contingency/management reserve strategy, and run total company forecast reviews against targets.
  • •Drive external benchmarking against peer companies on key financial and non-financial metrics and perform ad hoc analyses to inform long-term planning and decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of work experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or management consulting, ideally with tech, SaaS, or fintech exposure.
  • •Advanced financial modeling skills, including long range planning, scenario/sensitivity, and valuation models.
  • •Strong command of consolidated financial statements, key SaaS/fintech operating metrics, and external benchmarking.
  • •Excellent communication and storytelling skills to move between model detail and executive/Board narratives.
