Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop technical and quality standards with appropriate controls for Electrical & Fire compliance services.
  • •Maintain the QMS by reviewing technical documents against ISO 9001 requirements.
  • •Create clear scopes of examination, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) for inspection activities.
  • •Monitor and support the competency of authorised Engineer Surveyors within the Electrical & Fire discipline.
  • •Provide technical advice and support investigations into serious occurrences and potential claims-related incidents, and drive growth of the electrical and fire service lines.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience of engineering inspection activities, with auditor awareness and experience.
  • •Have or be willing to progress to a Level 3 Foundation Fire Risk Assessment certificate to BS8674:2025.
  • •Hold an 18th Edition and an NVQ Level 3+ in an Electrical Engineering subject.
  • •Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ability to balance prudent risk management with quality/compliance decision-making.
  • •Ability to verbally communicate and document engineering risk concepts clearly to non-experts.
