Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver new observability and resilience capabilities using AI to develop agentic flows and improved adoption of the enterprise toolset.
  • •Champion new observability tools and methods by building, curating, and governing repeatable patterns for adoption.
  • •Ensure key assets are fully observable and define modern observability and response engineering standards.
  • •Reimagine incident detection, triage, and response at scale; build automated responses to common issues to reduce time to notice and resolution.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams and develop/own relationships while writing integrations, synthetic tests, and incident-response automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field (or equivalent combination such as a master’s with 2 years, PhD with up to 1 year, or 16 years total).
  • •Hands-on with enterprise observability/monitoring tooling (CloudWatch, New Relic, SolarWinds, Splunk, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow ITOM) as a builder and integrator.
  • •Experience writing synthetic tests in Python, Ruby, or JavaScript for Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
  • •Deep observability experience across instrumentation, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting at scale; plus distributed systems knowledge and failure mode understanding.
  • •CI/CD, Git/version control, infrastructure-as-code, and API design experience with production ownership (on-call, incident response, observability).
