Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop lifting plans and safe systems of work for all lifting operations.
  • •Prepare and review lifting plans, review contractor lifting plans, and ensure required safety controls are in place.
  • •Ensure lifting equipment documents and test certificates are available and monitor third-party lifting inspections.
  • •Advise operations on lifting-related queries according to up-to-date standards and legislations, and support lifting incidents and investigations.
  • •Create and review lifting-related work instructions and procedures; act as the focal point for lifting safety information and represent the company in audits/meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •BSE degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •LEEA-UK qualifications including Entry Exam and 4 Diplomas including LEG, RCS and OTC.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience working with lifting equipment.
  • •Minimum 10 years in crane-related supervisory/management operational role.
  • •Trained and competent signaler/slinger with a certificate from an approved third-party training provider.
