Job Summary

Manage Vietnam tax compliance for the Vietnam Jointure entity, including monthly/quarterly/annual VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT reporting with reconciliation to the accounting system. Handle tax-related issues such as reconciliation, audits/inspections, and updates to changing tax policies. Maintain tax journal entries and support general ledger maintenance and financial report preparation, including account reconciliations and analyses.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage monthly/quarterly/annual VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT reports, including declarations/finalization and reconciliation with the accounting system to ensure compliance.
•Handle tax-related issues including tax reconciliation and support for audit/inspection (internally and externally).
•Track and apply changing/new tax policies and regulations, and guide relevant internal departments on efficient application (including PIT).
•Manage monthly tax journal entry closing and maintain tax-related entries and other general ledger accounts as needed.
•Assist day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining an accurate general ledger and supporting preparation of financial reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
•3-6 years working experience as an accountant or related, including at least 2 years in a tax position.
•Good understanding of Vietnamese Tax and the accounting system, including accounting principles and procedures.
•Good verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to handle multiple activities.
•Understanding of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is an added advantage.
