Job Summary

Provide technical and order engineering support for Emerson Flow Control products within the Bill of Materials Order Engineering team. Review commercial and technical incoming orders, verify product/service compatibility using specification sheets and OEDI/II, and create/update product structures to meet construction requirements. Coordinate engineering/part number setup and internal order requisitions to factories, respond to inquiries, ensure item accuracy before release, and mentor staff through the process.

Key Responsibilities

•Review incoming commercial and technical orders using established guidelines and requirements.
•Check specification sheets against technical information in OEDI/II and Bulletins to ensure product/service compatibility.
•Verify option compatibility, create/update product structures to meet required construction, and submit engineering/part number setup requests.
•Raise Internal Order Requisitions (IOR) to factories and provide timely responses to factory enquiries.
•Ensure accuracy by checking detailed items before release, mentor and train staff in order detailing, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6 years proven experience in Bill of Materials or a related field.
•Knowledge in Oracle Business system and Microsoft Office.
•General understanding of quote to cash processes.
•Ability to implement and lead process improvements that optimize work and improve performance metrics.
•Experience leading large products in Order Engineering.
