Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement site energy strategy aligned with sustainability, cost reduction, and decarbonization goals; set annual/long-term targets and create detailed energy roadmaps.
  • •Lead renewable energy project identification, feasibility studies, coordination through due diligence, commissioning, performance testing, monitoring, and handover.
  • •Evaluate and manage PPAs and open access arrangements, including forecasting, RFIs/RFPs, tariff and landed-cost analysis, and financial risk assessment (NPV/IRR/payback).
  • •Establish and continuously improve ISO 50001 EnMS: define scope, integrate energy considerations, run audits/management reviews, and manage corrective actions/non-conformities.
  • •Build and maintain energy baselines and digital reporting (dashboards, scorecards, energy data governance) and track regulatory requirements with utilities, regulators, and collaborators.

Key Requirements

  • •10-14 years of experience in industrial energy management, renewable energy, or electricity procurement.
  • •Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 50001 and running energy baselines, EnPIs, SEUs, action plans, and energy audits.
  • •Experience developing and managing Renewable PPAs, Open Access, Captive and Group-Captive projects, including metering systems, dashboards, and savings verification.
  • •Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and energy systems, including load profiling and demand forecasting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Environmental Engineering, or related fields; preferred postgraduate in energy management/power systems/renewables/sustainability or MBA; certifications such as CEM/CEA and ISO 50001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are expected.
