Key Responsibilities

  • •Reinforce didactic content by teaching knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing.
  • •Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.

  • •Stay current with new trends and development in nursing practice.
  • •Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements and model nursing tenets, ethical expectations, and the university mission.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred: Masters (or higher) in Nursing.
  • •2 years of recent direct Critical Care nursing experience.
  • •Minimum: Bachelor's in nursing AND 3 years of recent direct Critical Care nursing experience AND enrolled in a graduate program.
  • •Active, current, unencumbered AZ or multi-state (compact) RN license.
  • •Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
