Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer and develop large-scale database platforms across Sybase, DB2, and newer database technologies.
  • •Perform performance tuning and optimization, including query tuning, indexing strategies, workload analysis, and capacity planning.
  • •Design, test, and implement database changes with a focus on resiliency, quality, and operational stability.
  • •Support database migration and modernization initiatives, including movement toward Snowflake and/or SingleStore where applicable.
  • •Execute database version upgrades, patching, and operational readiness improvements, and contribute to cloud-based database development with automation and scalability.

Key Requirements

  • •Intermediate knowledge of development and performance optimization across major RDBMS technologies, especially Sybase and DB2.
