Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 90-day customer delivery driver trainee programme to become a fully qualified Customer Delivery Technician with a C1 driving licence.
  • •Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service.
  • •Perform daily vehicle checks and assist with loading deliveries while collaborating with the warehouse team.
  • •Install various products in customers’ homes, including wall-mount TVs and integrated/hard-wired appliance installations, efficiently and correctly.
  • •Adhere to legal driving regulations (including the Working Time Directive and EU regulations) and handle unexpected situations to find the best solutions for customers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 30,000 - 37,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Be 18 or over by the start date.
  • •Hold a UK B-Category manual driving licence with no more than 6 points (C1 licence qualification through the programme).
  • •Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • •Have great verbal communication skills over the phone and in person.
  • •Good understanding of technology and interest in installation.
