Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items, including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; record sales of monetary instruments.
  • •Maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area and adhere to bank policies and procedures.
  • •Promote and cross-sell bank products and services; assist with balancing vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine as assigned.
  • •Float to different branch locations as needed, follow account-protection limits, and complete required BSA/AML compliance training as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years of high school or GED plus 12–18 months related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person and in small-group settings.
  • •Basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using money and other forms of measurement.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •Ability to float between work locations as needed and remain flexible with the work schedule.
