Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the Editor’s complex calendar, prioritizing meetings, coordinating appointments, and anticipating scheduling needs and conflicts.
  • •Liaise with departments, writers, contributors, and external partners on behalf of the Editor’s office.
  • •Read and provide feedback on pitches, article submissions, and drafts of New Yorker pieces.
  • •Conduct research and prepare background materials for interviews, reported pieces, meetings, and other work.
  • •Manage end-to-end awards submissions, and file expenses and coordinate travel arrangements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000 annually
