Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop high-performance controller firmware for volatile and non-volatile memory systems and SSD products.
  • •Evaluate, create, build, bench test, debug, and perform failure analysis for firmware on new memory controllers and SSDs.
  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems that meet or exceed the technical spec matrix requirements (performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability).
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure quality, functional, and performance requirements across integration milestones.
  • •Triage failures, file bug reports, assist teams in isolating issues, and provide accurate project updates and information to management and cross-functional partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer engineering.
  • •Excellent communication skills.
  • •Experience with firmware/embedded programming (primary C programming) and debugging.
  • •Experience working with storage interfaces such as PCIe and/or NVMe (plus).
  • •2 years of equivalent experience in embedded systems development (advantage).
