Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and train production supervisors across production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, safety, and problem solving.
  • •Check daily production orders, ensure every position is filled before startup, and oversee team member morning exercises and job rotation for ergonomics.
  • •Ensure machinery and workstations are operating at the highest standard and have passed USDA inspection.
  • •Oversee processing operations including inventory rotation, accurate shipments, proper product coding, and records for reworked/returned product.
  • •Promote daily safety and lead monthly safety meetings; perform CCP verification schedules and oversee safety committee.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in a manufacturing environment or poultry with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • •Two years of experience at Tyson or equivalent experience preferred; familiarity with the processing floor is a plus.
  • •High school diploma; special training/vocational school/college courses preferred.
  • •Ability to access all production floor areas for audits and inspections; must tolerate temperatures around 28–45 degrees.
  • •HACCP certification plus understanding of basic HACCP principals and ability to perform CCP monitoring/verification is preferred; strong communication and team leader problem-solving/motivation skills.
