Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary preparer for month-end and quarter-end close calendar, checklist, and reconciliations; lead close flux presentations with management
  • •Take full ownership of payroll accounting functions: processing, reconciliation, compliance, and reporting
  • •Design and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance mechanisms aligned with accounting policies and regulations
  • •Drive accounting process improvements focused on automation, efficiency, and scaling for growth
  • •Partner with external auditors and support audit deliverables; assist with processing employee equity grants

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive accounting experience (3+ years in a public company, preferably in startup/high-growth environments)
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification (or equivalent) preferred
  • •Demonstrated payroll accounting experience and related compliance requirements
  • •Experience leading process improvement initiatives and accounting system implementations/major upgrades
  • •Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar) and experience with financial systems integration
