Job Summary

Adaptive, self-motivated design verification engineer joining AMD’s Verifications Engineering team to drive and improve the quality of next-generation silicon IP. You will develop and maintain tests and testbenches for core verification, build hardware emulation environments to accelerate IP verification, and collaborate across sites to enable robust, high-performance silicon designs.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level
•Build testbench components to support the next generation IP
•Maintain or improve current verification libraries to accelerate IP testing
•Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functionality and performance
•Provide technical support to other teams during verification and debugging

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering
•Strong C/C++ programming skills
•Familiarity with SystemVerilog and verification libraries such as UVM
•Experience with designing and verifying complex processor architectures or digital designs
•Ability to collaborate across multiple sites/time zones and communicate effectively
