Job Summary

Lead the ALEGS Section in Tucson, overseeing 15–20 engineers across the lifecycle of airborne electrical subsystems. Provide technical leadership, drive staffing and performance development, collaborate across programs and functions, and ensure program execution while aligning with RTX values.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee direct line management activities, including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.
•The section leader will guide a section of 15 to 20 ALEGS engineers.
•Support section member performance, career development, and growth through activities such as eliciting, compiling, and communicating performance feedback, as well as performance development.
•Manage hiring efforts, including resume reviews, interviews, and onboarding.
•Promote collaboration across functional, program, and supplier boundaries to drive program execution and align with staffing needs and member growth.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years’ prior relevant experience.
•Current or prior experience with RF/Digital/Analog Power subsystem development, including design, analysis, and/or test.
•Experience spearheading a technical team (e.g., in the role of task leader/IPTL or Engineering Lead).
•Demonstrated direct or dotted line leadership of personnel.
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; active DoD Secret clearance required on day 1.
