Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the subject-matter expert for the funds and discretionary (DPM) product shelf, providing clear investment rationale and positioning.
  • •Partner with Relationship Managers on solution design, including portfolio construction input, product selection, and implementation guidance.
  • •Attend client meetings as the product specialist to present recommendations, explain risks/returns, and handle technical queries confidently.
  • •Enable the front office with effective pitch materials, talking points, and product insights to support consistent client messaging.
  • •Support product governance by monitoring fund/DPM performance, maintaining required documentation, and escalating suitability, risk, or performance concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience and strong working knowledge of investment products, particularly mutual funds, alternatives, and discretionary portfolio mandates (DPM).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • •CFA and/or CAIA preferred (or progress towards qualification viewed favourably).
  • •Strong analytical skills to translate technical investment content into clear, client-friendly language.
  • •Commercial mindset with evidence of supporting AUM/revenue growth through effective product adoption and front-office enablement.
