Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical aspects of a sales cycle, from initial RFIs through RFPs/RFQs as required.
•Participate in and help manage POCs in partnership with internal teams and customer/commercial partners.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners alongside the sales partner.
•Position Fortinet solutions effectively, presenting via whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, and customer discussions.
•Maintain accurate customer/prospect activity and account technical information in Salesforce while supporting multiple concurrent deals.

Key Requirements

•High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, and routing/switching (LAN/WAN desirable).
•Pre-sales engineer experience managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to drive key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewalls, and common security protocols/algorithms (e.g., 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES/3DES).
