Job Summary

Senior Property Underwriter responsible for leading regional strategy and profitability for Southern Europe, managing large accounts, and coordinating with global CUO teams. You will develop client and broker relationships, steer pipelines and portfolio analyses, and support pricing, participation, and terms for new and renewal business within a complex international insurance framework.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute the Property Line of Business regional strategy and proactively support the development of the global LoB strategy
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
•Ownership of large accounts and ultimate responsibility for accounts
•Manage and steer the local portfolio, creating pipelines, discussing plans, and carrying out portfolio analyses
•Proactively drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting processes, including Distribution, ARC, Claims, Operations

Key Requirements

•Completed an appropriate level of education
•Ideally 7+ years or more relevant experience as an Underwriter, Broker or relevant equivalent in the Property insurance sector
•Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
•Ability to work in an international matrix organization
•Working knowledge of the English language
