Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the lead legal advisor to the Education Solutions businesses and partner with executive leaders on strategic priorities.
  • •Advise on complex commercial, regulatory, governance, and operational legal matters with practical, risk-based guidance.
  • •Lead legal support for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other growth initiatives.
  • •Identify and mitigate legal risk while collaborating across finance, compliance, product, and business teams to enable innovation and operational excellence.
  • •Provide trusted counsel by building strong relationships across the organization and navigating evolving legal and business challenges.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • •10+ years of legal experience supporting technology, software, SaaS, or education-focused businesses.
  • •Strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and strategic business counseling.
  • •Ability to assess legal risk and provide practical, business-focused advice that influences senior leadership decisions.
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
