•Lead, grow, and mentor a globally distributed team of database internals engineers. You own hiring, performance management, career development, and team health.
•Own team execution and set the technical roadmap with Product, owning prioritization, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
•Partner closely with the Platform Engineering team and other engineering leaders to build a world-class experience for our customers on Tiger Cloud.
•Engage with high-value customers on escalations and elevated technical needs, translating their experiences into priorities for your team.
•Be an enthusiastic and personable leader who sets a high bar, and helps the broader engineering organization succeed.
