Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and mentor a globally distributed team of database internals engineers. You own hiring, performance management, career development, and team health.
  • •Own team execution and set the technical roadmap with Product, owning prioritization, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  • •Partner closely with the Platform Engineering team and other engineering leaders to build a world-class experience for our customers on Tiger Cloud.
  • •Engage with high-value customers on escalations and elevated technical needs, translating their experiences into priorities for your team.
  • •Be an enthusiastic and personable leader who sets a high bar, and helps the broader engineering organization succeed.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of engineering experience

  • •Familiarity with PostgreSQL internals is a strong plus (not required)
