Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full Cloud Namespace lifecycle for operators, including provisioning/management flows, configuration defaults and policies, updates-in-place, and safe deletion.
  • •Define and evolve differentiated Namespace offerings (SLA, latency, durability, residency, cost options) that are easy for customers to understand and trust.
  • •Own throughput and capacity management for Namespaces (autoscaling, TRUs, reserved vs. elastic capacity, scheduling, visibility, limits, and quotas).
  • •Drive operational policy and features for namespace placement, replication, and scaling to deliver reliable, performant, cost-effective service at multi-tenant scale.
  • •Own Namespace APIs & configuration used by customer automation, the UI, and other products/services.

Key Requirements

  • •Product leadership experience shipping and operating platform/infrastructure products where reliability, performance, and cost tradeoffs matter.
  • •Strong systems thinking to translate workload needs into tiering, pricing, policy, quotas/limits, and scalable defaults.
  • •Partner closely with engineering on technical topics like autoscaling, capacity planning, rolling deployment/placement logic, and resilience patterns.
  • •Experience defining and managing SLOs/SLAs and using metrics to drive product decisions and prioritization.
  • •Ability to align stakeholders and produce crisp PRDs, decision docs, and customer-facing explanations.
