Key Responsibilities

•Own reliability across the full vehicle-to-customer path, including AUV onboard compute, topside/operator systems, cloud data pipelines, and the customer-facing platform.
•Build and extend infrastructure automation for provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and self-recovery to minimize manual intervention.
•Design and improve observability (metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting) for early, actionable signals across vehicle fleets and cloud services.
•Drive down on-call burden by eliminating single points of failure, writing runbooks, and automating manual steps that require tribal knowledge.
•Participate in a shared on-call rotation and lead blameless post-incident reviews; define and track reliability targets tied to continuous-operations goals.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 164,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering running production systems with uptime and on-call responsibilities, including senior-level reliability ownership.
•Experience implementing scalable incident management and operational excellence mechanisms that serve operators as customers.
•Comfort scripting and building tooling in Python and/or Go and Bash, and using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent).
•Hands-on AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, and IAM, plus containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
•Working knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana or equivalents).
