Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide 24/7 support and engineering expertise for critical motors, breakers, and backup support of the plant power system.
  • •Lead capital project research, management, and execution for assigned equipment, from planning through realization and start-up.
  • •Develop, track, and report KPIs for assigned/critical equipment, and review/develop AM/PM/PdM activities to reduce downtime and cost.
  • •Prepare training, operation, maintenance, and start-up documentation for assigned assets.
  • •Drive continuous improvement activities, root-cause elimination countermeasures, and mitigation of single-point failures for site-wide critical motor reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in engineering or technology from an accredited college/university.
  • •4+ years of experience in heavy industry, utilities, or manufacturing with emphasis on rotating equipment.
  • •Strong AC/DC electric motor knowledge, with some drives and power system background.
  • •Strong understanding of EASA, IEEE, NEMA and ANSI standards as applied to electric motors.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and lead problem-solving efforts.
