Job Summary

Lead the Structural Design Team by overseeing the design, documentation, and technical delivery of structural design services across the full project lifecycle. Drive quality assurance and quality control for designs, drawings, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with regional and national regulations. Plan and coordinate engineering and BIM resources, manage project scope and utilisation, and contribute to proposals, business development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and coordinate engineering and BIM resources across projects
•Oversee structural design services, including design and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
•Lead quality checking of designs, drawings, and deliverables to ensure technical delivery
•Provide input to man-hour estimates, cost tracking, and proposal development
•Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement, including growth and performance appraisal of people

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or Equivalent
•Professional chartership/registration within jurisdiction
•Typically, 15+ years’ relevant experience
•Extensive experience applying local and international standards, particularly the Australian Code
•Managed and led large teams to deliver sustainable business outcomes
