Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the operational health and reliability of abatement systems supporting semiconductor process equipment.
  • •Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies; monitor performance and drive reliability improvements.
  • •Maintain system documentation, operating procedures, and maintenance records.
  • •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; diagnose mechanical, electrical, process, and controls-related failures.
  • •Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including emergency response procedures and hazard reviews (JHAs, Risk Assessments, MOC).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • •5–10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D labs, or facilities engineering.
  • •Deep understanding of semiconductor exhaust-emission-generating processes (e.g., CVD/PVD/Etch).
  • •Experience with burn-wet abatement and plasma abatement systems (wafer fab experience is an added advantage).
  • •Deep understanding of utility systems such as vacuum/exhaust, cooling water, chemical delivery, PLC/SCADA, and sensors.
