Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and mitigation strategies.
  • •Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to enable “shift left” security in development workflows.
  • •Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
  • •Drive vulnerability management and remediation, prioritizing issues and implementing preventative controls across the software supply chain.
  • •Extend detection and response capabilities by building scalable solutions to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and remediate incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
  • •Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent in Azure and GCP with AWS experience).
  • •Experience securing cloud-native Kubernetes environments and applying container security principles.
  • •Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
  • •Hands-on IaC and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi) and scripting/automation languages such as Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
