Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the complete detail engineering for 500 kV and 220 kV transmission lines, including design of structures, foundations, conductor spans, hardware, insulators, and supporting works, and obtain technical approvals from the operator.
  • •Coordinate and supervise topography for staking and alignment corrections.
  • •Define and verify foundation designs (in situ, pre-molded, anchors) per geotechnical studies.
  • •Prepare documents for hardware, insulators, clamps, and damping systems.
  • •Coordinate development of conductor and OPGW sag tables, submitting for operator approval.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in transmission line engineering for high and extra-high voltage (220 kV and 500 kV).
  • •Proficiency in line design software, specifically PLS-CADD or equivalent.
  • •Experience in foundational design for towers in alpine/high-mountain terrain (desirable).
  • •Knowledge of Argentine standards AEA/IRAM and operator specifications for transmission lines.
  • •Experience in design of OPGW systems and transmission line accessories.
