Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver successful Cost Assurance commissions on behalf of Turner & Townsend.
  • •Review and scrutinise actual incurred costs and contractor systems, controls, and ways of working to identify best-practice improvements.
  • •Analyse complex construction contracts to assess accuracy/entitlement and support change management and forecast control.
  • •Perform data testing and insight generation using smart techniques and tools such as Power BI/Tableau; produce written findings reports with recommendations.
  • •Lead and support junior team members, refine internal training and service-line product management, and contribute to bids and business generation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • •Experience or a strong understanding of assurance or audit in a construction, commercial, or accountancy setting.
  • •Technical knowledge of construction cost areas including procurement routes, disallowed cost areas, target price setting, and pain/gain calculations.
  • •Contract management experience, with NEC3/4 preferred (Option C/E).
  • •Strong data analysis and report writing skills, including Power BI/Tableau experience preferred, and confidence communicating to multiple stakeholders.
