Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and lead the SRE capability in Infrastructure, building, mentoring, and managing an EMEA SRE team across on-premises datacentres and cloud environments.
  • •Own technical reliability outcomes including release readiness, platform stability, reliability risk visibility, and stakeholder confidence.
  • •Define and implement core SRE practices such as reliability reviews, operational readiness assessments, SLAs/SLOs, error budgets, and reliability embedded into service and platform design.
  • •Drive monitoring, observability, capacity management, and automation adoption using metrics, logging, tracing, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD to improve system health and reduce manual effort.
  • •Lead operational resilience and risk management, including blameless post-mortems, compliance with regulatory/internal governance standards, and escalation via the on-call rota.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven SRE leadership experience in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
  • •Strong technical understanding of infrastructure platforms (compute, virtualisation, storage, networking) across on-premises and cloud.
  • •Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
  • •Hands-on capability with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and version control/CI/CD (Git).
  • •Experience operating in tightly regulated environments (ideally financial services) and with regulatory frameworks such as DORA, PRA, or ECB operational resilience.
