Lead the development and execution of government relations strategy in India, driving American Express engagement with policymakers and key stakeholders to defend and promote business interests. Build relationships with regulatory bodies and ministries, monitor national and regional policy developments affecting payments, and develop compelling policy positions through research, communications, and events. Represent the company across trade bodies, membership associations, and manage external agencies supporting government affairs.
