Job Summary

Carry out reactive, proactive, and pre-planned repairs across Rochdale, Bury, and Middleton, meeting required standards and SLA deadlines. Use your joinery/fitting/plumbing/painting background to manage your own workflow and work with the team when needed. Ensure Health & Safety during and after works, purchase/manage approved materials, and support 24/7 emergency cover on a rota (approximately every 8–10 weeks).

Key Responsibilities

•Complete requested repairs (reactive, proactive, and pre-planned) to required standards and within SLA deadlines.
•Cover emergency out-of-hours on a rota basis to provide 24/7 emergency cover.
•Maintain Health & Safety for yourself and all users of the property during and after works.
•Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers.
•Operate with company-provided vehicles, keeping vehicles and tools in a professional and clean condition.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: GBP 27,500 - 33,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Full UK driving licence must be held.
•Previous maintenance experience in a field such as joinery, fitting, plumbing, or painting & decorating.

•Willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK, plus on-call duties.
