Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Environmental Permit applications, variations, transfers, and surrenders for a variety of clients across the UK and Ireland.
  • •Conduct environmental risk assessments to identify potential environmental impacts and risks; develop and implement mitigation measures and management plans.
  • •Advise clients on the implications of legislation, regulatory guidance, and Best Available Techniques (BAT); ensure client compliance with relevant environmental legislation and BAT standards.
  • •Support clients in regulator and stakeholder engagement; work collaboratively with EHS colleagues to deliver robust assessments.
  • •Carry out environmental audits, including assessments of legal compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •A base first degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science discipline.
  • •Demonstrable experience in an industrial or consultancy role with a strong track record in delivering Environmental Permitting compliance services and preparing documentation.
  • •Extensive working knowledge of relevant UK National and European environmental legislation.
  • •Excellent report writing, technical reviewing, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • •Proactive and positive attitude with strong team collaboration and ability to liaise with colleagues, industrial clients, and regulators.
