Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of systems; troubleshoot daily manufacturing, equipment, and process problems.
  • •Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements, including methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
  • •Set up and maintain gauges; ensure processes run on target per the Process Control Plan and respond to SPC process control alarms.
  • •Execute planned process experiments, collecting/analyzing data and reporting experimental results; collect data on daily tool and product performance.
  • •Develop and update internal documentation (drawings, SOPs, process specifications) and provide training to production associates while coordinating with internal associates and supplier representatives as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.89 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required, and must meet one of: an associates degree in a technical discipline, 2+ years machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function, one year First Solar technical experience, or six months experience as Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar.

  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line.
  • •Good written and oral communications skills in English, with the ability to handle both administrative and technical tasks.
