Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations, including guarding secure areas and entry control.
  • •Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property.
  • •Operate metal detector and detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles from entering restricted areas.
  • •Perform possible searching of guests and bags prior to entry and respond to rule infractions by warning, apprehending, or evicting violators.
  • •Patrol for intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates; write reports of daily activities and irregularities and work outdoors in varying weather.

Key Requirements

  • •Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • •Must undergo a background check and be cleared for security guard licensing and training through St. Louis County Police.
  • •Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
  • •Ability to perform duties professionally, make independent judgment within policy, and meet physical demands including constant walking and lifting/carrying 50 lbs+.
