Key Responsibilities

  • •Construct prototypes using technical specifications, patterns, and alternative construction methods in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • •Determine optimal fabrics, trims, and sewing techniques for high-performance apparel.
  • •Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges during sample creation.
  • •Support prototype-to-production transitions with a premium attention to detail.
  • •Ensure samples meet strict quality standards for stitching, durability, and finish.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience as a Sample Maker/Sample Sewer or similar role in apparel manufacturing, including factory/sample room/tailoring shop experience.
  • •Advanced ability to handle and sew complex fabrications, including both stretch and non-stretch textiles.
  • •Proven experience sewing athletic and ready-to-wear garments with strong understanding of garment construction and pattern interpretation.
  • •Proficiency using industrial sewing machines (single-needle, overlock, coverstitch, etc.) and the ability to read/follow patterns, spec sheets, and technical sketches.
  • •Plus experience with digital pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra) and basic knowledge of dyeing/washing/printing techniques (DTF, DTG).
