Job Summary

Build and lead the technical delivery of a multi-agent AI platform for client-facing channels (Chat, Email, Portal). You’ll architect and implement core infrastructure components—intent classification, agent routing, MCP protocol adapters, and resilience patterns—while mentoring engineers and standardizing practices. Spend most of your time writing production code and driving improvements across distributed, event-driven systems using FastAPI, LangChain, NATS/Kafka, and strong observability and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements across the VisaAssist portfolio and translate feedback into architecture decisions and working code.
•Lead system design and architecture for core platform components such as intent classification models, agent routing logic, MCP protocol adapters, and resilience patterns.
•Write production code daily across the stack using FastAPI endpoints, LangChain orchestration, Pydantic v2 schemas, async NATS handlers, and Docker/Kubernetes configurations.
•Establish engineering standards and shared libraries for the Python/FastAPI/LangChain/Pydantic v2 stack, including MCP server integration adapter standards.
•Mentor engineers through hands-on pair programming and code reviews, and partner with cybersecurity to address security assessments and implement secure authentication, guardrails, and compliance practices.

Key Requirements

•11-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (or at least 3 years with a PhD).
•Experience with Java EE and open-source frameworks including Spring, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and REST/RPC web services.
•Hands-on experience designing and scaling microservices and containerized systems.
•Experience evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical design documents; strong data modeling and design pattern knowledge.
•Experience with Kafka and NoSQL databases, plus database systems such as MySQL and MSSQL.
