Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a role model and coach the crew on safety, productivity, communications, work ethics, and emergency response.
  • •Supervise personnel in safe construction of distribution and transmission systems and coordinate work with other departments.
  • •Perform journeyman duties when collective bargaining agreement language applies and enforce safety by observing and correcting at-risk behavior.
  • •Plan work to eliminate barriers, maximize resources, reduce costs, and proactively address employee downtime.
  • •Oversee and complete accurate paperwork and manage assets, vehicle utilization, and customer/contractor interactions.
