Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and implementation of firmware solutions for AMD’s flagship data center products.
  • •Support defining firmware architecture, requirements, and documentation.
  • •Implement complex logic design solutions using integrated SoC and embedded processing.
  • •Develop strategies to test and verify stand-alone and integrated firmware functionality.
  • •Support defect investigations by validating fixes and providing logs/statistics for triaging defects.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid understanding of HW, firmware, and test development for embedded systems.
  • •Experience writing production-quality C/C++ for embedded firmware and translating system requirements into firmware requirements.
  • •Software programming/scripting experience in Linux (Python, Bash, C/C++).
  • •Familiarity with embedded protocols including I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, and TCP/IP.
  • •Knowledgeable in BMC out-of-band management and industry BMC protocols such as IPMI FRU, MCTP, PLDM, and Redfish.
