Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently spread commercial customer and prospect financial statements of medium to high complexity in accordance with published guidelines to ensure accuracy across lines of business, industries, and regions.
  • •Communicate with portfolio and relationship managers to apply knowledge of accounting and basic credit underwriting to support spreading guidelines, reporting requirements, and financial covenants.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on industry-specific nuances and how they impact financial reporting and probability of default ratings.
  • •Assist with monitoring and assessing risk across the central credit utility loan portfolio by executing assigned reviews and renewals per department procedures and commercial credit policy.
  • •Assist with special projects and administrative tasks supporting central credit utility leadership as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred, or commensurate experience.
  • •2+ years of commercial credit or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience spreading financial statements, including commercial & industrial, personal financial statements, tax returns, commercial real estate, governmental/institutional, dealer floor plan, and specialty types.
  • •Good working knowledge of internal applications (CCAS, ACE, AFS) and vendor-supported systems (Moody's Risk Analyst, Crowe Navigator) preferred.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication.
