Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to HSBC Mexico valuation policy as part of the Product Control Valuation team.
  • •Participate in the implementation and automation of FRTB processes in HSBC Mexico Product Control.
  • •Investigate collateral/MTM disputes with external counterparties and support core PC for PL valuation-related disputes.
  • •Ensure local valuation models are documented, periodically reviewed by IMR, and accurately listed in GMIS.
  • •Calculate, post, and reconcile Fair Value Adjustments; run the daily end-of-day curve process and act as the valuation focal point for internal/external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of valuation techniques for FX and Fixed Income asset classes.
  • •Strong knowledge of Fair Value Adjustments for FX and Fixed Income (e.g., IPV, Bid-Offer, Illiquidity, xVA).
  • •Ability to liaise with senior management, exercise independent judgment, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
  • •Experience implementing and automating FRTB processes within Product Control.
  • •Ability to investigate collateral and MTM disputes with external counterparties.
