Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the monthly and quarterly close end-to-end, including close calendar, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and flux/variance analysis with tie-outs to financial statements.
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop the operational accounting team by setting ownership, review standards, and deadlines while scaling capacity.
  • •Drive a faster, higher-quality close by streamlining workflows, standardizing reconciliations, and implementing consistent review/sign-off procedures across the general ledger.
  • •Own core operational accounting areas (cash, prepaids and accruals, fixed assets, leases, and intangibles) and ensure accurate, timely recording across entities.
  • •Strengthen internal controls over close and operational accounting processes, support audits with reconciliations and documentation, and improve automation/accuracy using ERP capabilities, BI tooling, and AI.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong public accounting foundation (Big 4 preferred) and corporate/general ledger experience in a high-growth tech or consumer company.
  • •Proven ownership of the monthly and quarterly close, including close calendar management, reconciliations, and financial statement tie-outs.
  • •People leadership experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing accounting teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience operating in a SOX-aware (or public company readiness) environment.
  • •CPA preferred, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
