Key Responsibilities

•Own the team’s delivery commitments with clear planning, communication, and predictable completion of work.
•Run sprint ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and enforce process disciplines.
•Identify and remove blockers early, escalating when needed, and manage technical debt within the team’s domain.
•Hold regular one-to-ones, provide honest constructive feedback, and support engineer growth and progression.
•Contribute technically through code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident response while maintaining quality, security, and reliability standards.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 1 to 2 years in a formal engineering leadership role (e.g., principal, tech lead, team lead, or engineering manager).

•A track record of helping engineers grow through mentoring, structured feedback, and creating conditions for high performance.
•Experience in an agile delivery environment, confident running sprint ceremonies and managing a backlog.
•Strong communication skills in English to translate technical progress and risk for non-technical stakeholders.
