Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the team’s delivery commitments with clear planning, communication, and predictable completion of work.
  • •Run sprint ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and enforce process disciplines.
  • •Identify and remove blockers early, escalating when needed, and manage technical debt within the team’s domain.
  • •Hold regular one-to-ones, provide honest constructive feedback, and support engineer growth and progression.
  • •Contribute technically through code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident response while maintaining quality, security, and reliability standards.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 1 to 2 years in a formal engineering leadership role (e.g., principal, tech lead, team lead, or engineering manager).
  • •Hands-on backend or full-stack development experience, able to review code and contribute to technical decisions.
  • •A track record of helping engineers grow through mentoring, structured feedback, and creating conditions for high performance.
  • •Experience in an agile delivery environment, confident running sprint ceremonies and managing a backlog.
  • •Strong communication skills in English to translate technical progress and risk for non-technical stakeholders.
